What Is Axe Throwing?

Axe throwing is an increasingly popular sport across the nation that revolves around throwing axes and hatchets at targets. At our indoor facility, you decide if you want to compete or throw for fun! Our dedicated staff will teach you on site how to throw our axes and hatchets safely and properly.       1090 Axe House is like no other in New Mexico! We are locally owned and operated with the latest technology in targets.

Do You Offer Walk-Ins?

Yes, we do offer walk-ins for those who just want to drop in. Availability based only, not a guarantee.

How Long is Each Session?

Sessions are typically 60 minutes long. However we do offer group bookings for 2 & 3 hour sessions. Call us to book your special event!

What Should I Wear?

We do require everyone who throws to wear closed-toed shoes. Wear comfortable clothing that allows throwing movement. Avoid wearing baggy clothing and accessories. Throwers MUST wear Closed Toed Shoes. No Sandals or High Heels of Any Kind – No Exceptions!

Do You Provide All The Equipment?

Yes, we supply all materials and equipment including the axes.

Can We Take Pictures or Videos?

Yes you can most certainly take pictures and videos and in fact we encourage it!

Is There An Age Limit?

Yes, there is an age limit, due to insurance and licensing restrictions, all axe throwers must be at least 7 years old.

Is It Safe? Has Anyone Ever Gotten Hurt?

Is it safe? Axe-Solutely!  It is completely safe and we are very strict in making sure that everyone is throwing the axes in a safe manner and following the rules.
